Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is an award winning, national debt counselling charity with a network of over 300 debt centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth service. Thousands of families have already been released from the pressure of debt through a combination of advice, financial education, budgeting and insolvency services. CAP’s unique and non-judgemental approach means you are supported all the way as you take each step towards being free from debt.

The Maidstone CAP Centre was established in 2010 and is now led by The Vine’s Jean Williams. To date we have seen over 80 clients in the Maidstone area released from the burden of debt.
