Mamas & Babas is a mother and toddler group in Maidstone that meets on a Monday morning between 9.30am and 11:30am during term time. Our vision is to offer an excellent project to families across Maidstone that allows parents and carers to connect with each other and that gives toddlers the opportunity to have fun, explore and learn new skills in a safe environment. Situated close to the town centre, parents and carers in neighbouring residential areas have access to the Mamas & Babas group for various activities.
Our morning program includes a singing time, moving and shaking, free play, a ‘corner’ where we read stories to the toddlers, crafts and sensory play as well as a healthy snack. We spoil the mums too and offer heaps of practical support in the form of courses like the Paediatric First Aid Course and evenings where we invite guest speakers to talk about parenting. These take place in addition to our Monday morning sessions.
We also have dads visiting our group and are looking introducing Saturday mornings where dads can get together with the toddlers.
Mamas & Babas is affiliated with Jubilee Church in Maidstone. We hold Christian values whilst not discriminating in any way. We strive to embrace all people of all beliefs and show them unconditional love and acceptance.
